Greek organic arbutus honey – 400 g

Arbutus honey, also known as strawberry tree honey, is a very medicinal honey. This type of honey comes from only four places, Southern Portugal, Sardinia, Corsica and Greece. It has a very unusual bitter taste, which is almost unheard of in any other type of honey.

Arbutus honey contains homogentisic acid, a powerful phenolic acid. Its antioxidant and antibacterial properties are truly exceptional and it is one of the most antioxidant and antibacterial honeys in the world. This honey, like our organic pine honey, is suitable for people with diabetes.

Arbutus honey is extremely rare and is produced in limited quantities and not every year.
